Hello Serial Storage Wire Readers!
You may have noticed that we've been on a hiatus for the past number of months. We have been diligently working on a new STA website and, accordingly, Serial Storage Wire site. Please visit our newly launched STA website (www.scsita.org), and see the Serial Storage Wire archives (www.scsita.org/serial-storage-wire) too. We have introduced many new features that will help you find the information you need.
In addition to refreshing the look and feel of the STA website, we have also moved the site to a new platform, MovableType®, to better organize and present the full range of content and information about Serial Attached SCSI, as well as a rich collection of materials in our archive about parallel SCSI. We believe the site is more user-friendly and better-organized, making it easier to find the material our readers are seeking. Our new format also allows readers to post comments on selected pages, which we hope leads to online discussions about subjects that interest our readers. Both Serial Storage Wire and the SCSI Trade Association website are now on the same platform and more integrated than in our previous format. When you search on the STA site for a particular topic, you will not only locate documents such as white papers, presentations and press releases that pertain to those topics, but also related Serial Storage Wire articles.
Check out the Library section - we have organized material around our three roadmaps - the performance roadmap, the MultiLink SAS Roadmap and the Advanced Connectivity roadmap. In each of these sections, you will find the affiliated articles, white papers, webinars, case studies and so forth related to each roadmap.
Finally, don't forget to check the updated SCSI Product List. STA member companies have updated the information on our site to include the latest SAS products, as well as removing products they no longer support from the database. Your product search will result in an up-to-date list of Serial Attached SCSI products that you can quickly skim for products that you wish to learn more about, which you can easily do by selecting links provided by the product's vendor. This valuable tool permits searching by SCSI Categories, SCSI Generations and participating STA member company names.
We hope you enjoy the new site! Plan to spend some time on it - with more than 500 documents and articles, it's simply the richest source for all things SCSI; and please send us your thoughts & reactions to: email@example.com.
